Richard is a founder member and a major driving force behind P1 racing. Not only is he the team manager with all the responsibilities of the day to day team logistics, but he is also a Driver Coach and Mechanic. The potential of P1 is to take on drivers who are rookies and put them at the front of the grid and fight for the championship, be that in either the UK or Europe. Richard has prior racing experience having achieved sufficient success at club level to be offered a test outing in a British F3 car, including triumphing in the Kimbolton Kart Championship during his five-year stint behind the wheel. Both  Richard and Sam are very self critical when it comes to the set up of the karts, neither are prepared to let a non competitive machine out of the awning and onto the track.
